Correction Detail

The aim if to deliver your cars paintwork to better than new condition.​

Using multiple machine cutting and refining stages we are aiming at removing Swirl marks, random deep scratches (RDS), buffer trails, sanding marks(pig tails), bird, bug and water etchings. 100% correction isn’t always possible due to paint or clear coat depth or condition avoiding strike through during the process.  As a general rule if you can feel the scratch with your nail it will need painted or a scratch repair carried out. Although we can make scratches look better by “rounding off” the edges making it less noticeable.

​With this process we typically see >95% correction.  We recommend that a ceramic coating to be applied to protect the paintwork.

• Non acidic wheel cleaner applied before cleaning front and rear of wheels
• Wheel arches thoroughly cleaned
• Door shuts and petrol cap cleaned
• Safe wash process using the two bucket method with ph neutral products
• Decontamination stages tar deposits and iron removed with fallout remover
• Clay bar decontamination to remove any final bonded contaminants leaving a slick finish
• Rinsed with 0ppm pure water
• Dried with plush microfiber drying towels and hot air blow dryer to remove final trapped water
• Multiple Cutting stages used to defects different pad and compound combos
• Refining stage to remove hazing from the cutting stages restoring the deep high gloss and shine
• Paintwork wiped down panel wipe or IPA to remove remaining polish residues and oils leaving the perfect clean base for protective coatings to bond to
• A layer of synthetic sealant and/or a carnauba wax applied (see upgrades to ceramic paint protection)
• Exterior trim dressed with a permanent trim restorer
• Glass polished/cleaned throughout
• Tyres dressed
• Exhaust tail pipes cleaned
• Final inspection and wipe down with a spray coating with panel gaps and badges, etc, cleaned down with toothpicks and our microfiber smart cards
